NOSS Welcomes Brian R. Forzani, MD, FAAPMR!

Dr. Forzani is the newest pain management specialist added to the NOSS group, and he is now accepting patients.

Dr. Forzani is a native New Yorker and earned his M.D. from New York Medical College. He went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU, the Rusk Institute. Following this, he sought additional specialized training and completed an ACGME accredited fellowship at the University of Virginia in Pain Management.

Dr. Forzani has specialized training in interpreting neurodiagnostics (nerve conduction studies and electromyography) and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound. Specific areas of interest include Musculoskeletal Medicine (including muscle and joint pain), neck and back pain, interventional pain procedures (epidurals, medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, etc.), and use of neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation) for chronic pain conditions.

Dr. Forzani has been published in Pain Medicine, a nationally respected medical journal, as well as contributed to the creation of two textbooks on the above subjects as staying current with scientific advancements in his field is important to him.
