Lauren is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who is a member in our Pain Management clinical team. She earned her Master of Nursing Degree from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Fairfield University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to evidence-based practice, Lauren works diligently to provide personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. As a skilled healthcare provider, Lauren focuses on creating effective pain management strategies to help patients improve their quality of life, employing the latest research and techniques to guide treatment decisions.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Lauren gained extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, medical-surgical, cardiology, and interventional radiology. This diverse clinical background has contributed to her well-rounded skill set, enabling a comprehensive understanding of different patient needs and conditions. Additionally, Lauren worked on the frontlines during the challenging and transformative COVID-19 pandemic. This experience shaped her into a highly skilled clinician, enhancing her ability to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care and manage a wide range of conditions. The pandemic experience reinforced Lauren’s resilience, adaptability, and deep compassion for those in need of care. These qualities, combined with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, allow Lauren to deliver exceptional care that is both comprehensive and empathetic.
Outside of her professional work, Lauren has a positive outlook on life that she enjoys sharing with her patients. In her free time, she loves going to the beach and playing sports like basketball and soccer. Her active lifestyle and enthusiasm for life inspire those around her, helping her connect with patients on a personal level and encouraging them to take an active role in their health and well-being.
