New Electronic Health Record
Beginning October 6th, NOSS will be implementing the use of a new electronic medical record. The new system is called Modern Medicine (ModMed) and it is built specifically for specialty practices. NOSS is making this change for a variety of reasons, but a primary reason is to improve your experience. ModMed will enhance the ways you communicate with NOSS and your providers. It will streamline the check-in process, allowing you to check-in before your visit. You will have the ability to complete forms in advance of your visit. ModMed will track your entire visit so we can ensure that you’re in and out of the office as quickly as possible. These are just a few of the ways it will impact your experience going forward.
If we’re looking a little stressed out the first few weeks of October, it’s because we’re adapting to the new system and learning new workflows. Please be patient, please ask questions and we will get through the first few transitional weeks together.
